Volunteer Services at Magee

A MAGEE TRADITION...
Volunteers play an important role in the rehabilitation process, and enhance the quality of care Magee provides to its patients. Volunteers work in a wide variety of patient-related and staff-support capacities including:

  • Patient escorts
  • Therapeutic recreation
  • Horticultural therapy
  • Gift Shop staffing
  • Clerical/secretarial
  • Clinical support

New volunteers are always welcome at Magee. We need your time, your talents and your desire to make a difference in the lives of our patients.

If you are 14 years of age or older and would like to become a Magee volunteer, click on the "Request Information" link at the top of this page. The online form will be submitted directly to our staff, who will send you additional information on volunteer services, including an application.

Or, you can click here and download an application.  Once completed, please mail to Magee, Attention Volunteer Services.

When the completed application has been returned, an interview will be scheduled with the Volunteer Coordinator to discuss your interests and the current volunteer opportunities at Magee. If your qualifications and interests match an available position, a placement may be made.
