Dr. Guy Fried joined the Magee staff in 1989. He earned a BA in psychology with additional studies in chemistry, biology and economics from Hofstra University in New York in 1981. After graduation he attended Yale Medical School where upon completion of his thesis he received his MD degree in 1985.
Dr. Fried is board certified in Physical Medicine&Rehabilitation with further board certifications in Pain Medicine, Spinal Cord Injury Medicine, and Electrodiagnostic Medicine.
He is an Assistant Professor of Rehabilitation Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He has twice received the Jefferson Rehab Residency Attending of the Year award for teaching. In 2002 he was voted as one of the Philadelphia's Top Docs.
