Dr. Mendel Kupfer joined the physician staff of Magee Rehabilitation in August of 2006. Dr. Kupfer is a board certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation specialist and Assistant Professor of Rehabilitation Medicine at Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. He completed residency training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital where he served as Academic Chief Resident. Dr. Kupfer attended medical school at Tel Aviv University Sackler School of Medicine and holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Neuroscience from the University of Pittsburgh.

Dr. Kupfer's clinical focus is in spinal cord injury, sports medicine and pain management. He has published in peer reviewed journals and actively participates in resident physician education. Dr. Kupfer is a member of multiple professional organizations and is program director of the PA Academy of PM&R annual conference of 2008.
