Mark Chilutti of Northeast Philadelphia Receives Silver Antelope Award from Boy Scouts
As an eight year old boy, Northeast Philadelphia’s Mark Chilutti joined the Boy Scouts—deciding to measure his character through merit badges and service to the community. Thirty one years later, Chilutti’s character is still being measured through the Boy Scouts. On May 22, Chilutti was awarded the Silver Antelope, the Boy Scouts’ highest award for distinguished service to youth within one of the four regions of the Boy Scouts of America. The award is made by the National Court of Honor and the recipient must be a registered adult member of the Boy Scouts of America. Chilutti received the Silver Antelope at the Northeast Region Boy Scouts of America Recognition Luncheon and Annual Meeting in San Diego, California.
