Christopher Franklin Appointed to Magee Rehabilitation Hospital Board of Trustees
At Philadelphia Suburban Corporation (PSC), Mr. Franklin is responsible for the company’s federal, state and municipal legislative affairs, investor and shareholder relations, community relations, employee and customer communications, and graphics and printing. Mr. Franklin is also responsible for the customer service operations and all related activities of PSC’s largest operating subsidiary, Philadelphia Suburban Water Company (PSW). He is responsible for an annual capital budget of over $10 million, which includes the installation of Radio Frequency meter reading throughout the PSW system, and the implementation of a new customer information system. Previously, Mr. Franklin was with PECO Energy, serving as Regional, Civic and Economic Development Officer. Before joining PECO, he was Vice President, Government Affairs, of the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Franklin serves as a Board member of numerous business, civic and community service organizations, including: Philadelphia Suburban Water Company; the Chester County Chamber of Business and Industry; the Advisory Board of Penn State University, Great Valley; the Rock School of Ballet and the Delaware County Red Cross (which he formerly chaired). He is President of the Board of Trustees of the Fund for West Chester University, and is Past Chairman of the Legislative Committee of the Pennsylvania Business Roundtable in Harrisburg . Mr. Franklin holds a Bachelor of Science degree from West Chester University, and an MBA from Villanova University. He and his wife, Jennifer, reside in Bryn Mawr with their two children: Jack, 2 ½ , and Isabella, 1. |
