Philadelphia (April 2003) - Robert C. Gerlach, Esq. has been named to the Board of Trustees of Magee Rehabilitation Hospital.
Mr. Gerlach is a partner in the Business and Finance Department and a member of the Energy and Project Finance Group, Securities Group, and Securitization Group of Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll, LLP. He is also a member of the firm’s Opinion Committee and Chair of the Audit Letter Response Committee.

Mr. Gerlach’s practice is concentrated in the areas of public utility law and corporate and project finance. He has lectured on corporate governance, securities law reform, electricity deregulation, lawyers’ audit letter responses and audit committee issues, and standard asset securitizations.

After graduation from Lehigh University in 1970 with a B.S. in Metallurgy and Material Sciences, Mr. Gerlach earned a J.D. in 1974 from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law. He is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.

Mr. Gerlach and his wife, Diane, reside in Wallingford, and have four children. Mrs. Gerlach, a speech and hearing therapist, completed her clinical work at Magee Rehabilitation in preparation for her master’s degree in speech-hearing therapy.
