Magee and Cooper team up in a new program for people with spinal cord injuries.

Specialists from the Cooper Health System and Magee Rehabilitation Hospital are now evaluating people with spinal cord injuries to determine whether they might benefit from new functional electrical stimulation technology now available in the Philadelphia region.

The Neurocontrol FREEHAND™ System is an implantable device that uses electrical stimulation to restore some hand function. Evaluations are also being made for the VOCARE™ Bladder System. For more information, call the Magee Rehabilitation Spinal Cord Injury Program at 215-587-3116.
