Magee and MossRehab Open a New Outpatient Site in Voorhees, New Jersey
Voorhees, NJ, February 21, 2000-Magee Rehabilitation and MossRehab have opened a new outpatient rehabilitation satellite office at Jefferson HealthCARE Voorhees, 443 Laurel Oak Road in Voorhees, NJ (located in the Voorhees Corporate Center). Both organizations are nationally recognized rehabilitation providers and members of the Jefferson Health System. The new site is the first major joint initiative between the two hospitals. Additional sites are in the planning stages. Serving residents of South Jersey, Magee-MossRehab at Voorhees offers comprehensive medical rehabilitation. Services focus on sports-, work- and accident-related injuries, including hand, wrist, knee and shoulder problems and back pain. Specialty services include treatment for traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury and stroke. The practice is staffed by physical and occupational therapists and other rehabilitation specialists. Magee Rehabilitation Hospital, part of the Regional Spinal Cord Injury Center of Delaware Valley in affiliation with Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, is one of the Philadelphia region's original providers of physical and cognitive rehabilitation.
