Print | Email Magee Rehabilitation Hospital to be well represented at upcoming Conference for Therapists.
Magee Rehabilitation Hospital, a world renowned physical and cognitive rehabilitation hospital in Philadelphia, will send seven members of its staff to Chicago, Illinois to attend the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) National Combined Sections Meeting (CSM) on February 8-11th.
CSM is the largest gathering of physical therapists, physical therapists assistants, and physical therapy students in the United States. The conference takes place every February and contains educational offerings, platform and poster sessions, and business meetings organized by each section of APTA.
Magees Director of Therapy Services, Deborah Kucera, and Program Director of Spinal Cord Injury and Cooridinator of Research, Mary Schmidt, will speak at the conference and Physical Therapist, Lynn Cunningham, will give a poster presentation. Five of MageeҒs Physical Therapists, Erin Kelly, Erin ODonnell, Erin Blaustein, Robin Cvitano, and Georgette Driskill will be receiving their Neurologic Specialist Certificate (NCS) from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists.
APTA is an individual membership professional organization representing more than 80,000 member physical therapists (PTs), physical therapist assistants (PTAs), and students of physical therapy.
