Magee Rehabilitation Hospital is excited to announce that Dr. Brian Kucer will join the Medical Staff in October as the medical director for Magees Brain Injury Program.  Dr. Kucer is a Stanford University undergraduate and a Jefferson Medical College graduate, and was a resident and chief resident in the Jefferson/Magee Program. He furthered his brain injury knowledge and skill as an attending at Yale's teaching hospital, Gaylord, as well as a consulting physician at Yale-New Haven Hospital. More recently, Dr. Kucer has been an active attending physician at Christiana Hospital.

Dr. Kucer will be filling the role of Dr. Tim Young, medical director for Magees Brain Injury Program for the past three years. Dr. Young has accepted a position at Spaulding/Harvard as director of the Brain Injury Unit, and will transition his current responsibilities over to Dr. Kucer who will continue to advance the programs put in place by Dr. Young.
