Magee Publications Recognized in National Competition

Magee Rehabilitation Hospital recently received a pair of APEX 2007 Awards of Excellence for its Can Do Summer 2006 magazine and its 2006 Annual Report. The magazine was recognized in the category of "Most Improved Magazine," and the annual report received the award for "1-2-Person-Produced Annual Report."

APEX 2007 - the 19th Annual Awards for Publication Excellence - recognizes outstanding publications from newsletters and magazines to annual reports, brochures, and Web sites. Nearly 5,000 entries were evaluated in 11 major categories.

According to the APEX 2007 judges, "The awards were based on excellence in graphic design, quality of editorial content, and the success of the entry in conveying the message and achieving overall communications effectiveness."

The APEX Awards for Publication Excellence is an annual competition for writers, editors, publications staff, and business and nonprofit communicators. It is sponsored by Communications Concepts, Inc., publishers of business communication reports, including Writing That Works, a subscription monthly for professional communicators, and special reports on topics such as Writing for the WEB.
