Point Breeze Dance Troupe to Perform at Magee Rehabilitation Hospital

When Alfred Brown, Senior Vice President, of the Point Breeze Performing Arts Center in Philadelphia was a patient at Magee Rehabilitation Hospital, he was so grateful for the treatment he received that he wanted to do something special to say thanks.

And he's doing it in a big way.

On Friday, November 16, the Point Breeze Dance Company will perform for the patients and staff at Magee Rehab - free of charge - at 6:00 PM on the third floor.

The Point Breeze Dance Company is the premiere performance ensemble of the Point Breeze Performing Arts Center. Company members, ranging in age from 8- 18, train and rehearse a minimum of 14 hours a week, year round.

"It's going to a be wonderful for the patients and staff," said Linda Ciccantelli, Magee's Horticultural Therapist who organized the performance. "We picked six o'clock so that patients and their families could eat before the performance. You know...dinner and a show...a real night of entertainment for them."
