Several nationally known orthopedic surgeons operate in Philadelphia area hospitals. These surgeons attract patients from all over the country. These same surgeons refer many of their patients to Magee, including their more complicated patients, because of our reputation for rehabilitating complex patients. The orthopedic patients we serve are complex (for example, may have two knees replaced at the same time), or may be suffering from such serious conditions as diabetes, heart problems or obesity.

When surveyed 3-5 months after discharge, patients with orthopedic injuries were satisfied or very satisfied and scored higher then the national benchmark when asked about the rehab they received
