Philadelphia, Pa The city of Philadelphia is showing its support for the Phillies as they get ready to face the LA Dodgers in the National League Championship Series.

And the patients and staff at Magee Rehabilitation Hospital are no exception.

On Thursday, October 9, at 11:00 am, a bed sheet banner emblazoned with the words GO PHILS! FROM YOUR FIGHTIN' PHANS AT MAGEE and signed by over ninety patients and hundreds of therapists and nurses will be unfurled from the hospital's second floor balcony on Race Street. It will be there till the Phillies are eliminated.

"Magee is a hotbed of Phillies fans," said Magee's Director of Public Relations, Kerry O'Connor. "All year round, the Phils are being discussed from cubicles to nurse's stations and in the gyms with patients. They are all very excited about the possibility of bringing a World Series trophy to the City. And whats a more Philly-centric way to salute your team than the bed-sheet banner?"

As for the games themselves, the Phillies have helped Magee create a playoff-game atmosphere for the patientswho will be able to watch the games in their rooms or on the giant screen in the hospital's conference roomby providing official Phillies rally towels to the hospital.

Magee is located at 16th&Race Streets.
