Last Friday, September 11, Darryl Leverrett, who has a spinal cord injury, was finishing up his physical rehabilitation at Magee Rehabilitation Hospital when he mentioned to one of this therapists, Yasmine Noorali Scott, and to his doctor, Chris Formal, MD that he was a huge fan of NBC 10 weatherman, Glenn "Hurricane" Schwartz and that he would love to have his picture taken with him someday.Glenn "Hurricane" Schwartz visits Magee patient

Always looking for ways to make their patients happy, Scott and Dr. Formal asked Magee's Public Relations Department if there was any way that "Hurricane" could be brought in to meet Leverrett before he was discharged on September 15.

Phone calls were made, and at precisely 1:30pm "Hurricane" Schwartz made landfall on Magee's 5th floor.

Schwartz visited with Leverrett, Scott and Dr. Formal and posed for pictures.
