On Monday, February 1, 2010 Magee Rehabilitation Hospital,--a U.S. News&World Report Best Physical&Cognitive Therapy Hospital--will open a brand new Outpatient facility at 806 Floral Vale Blvd in Yardley PA.

The new, 1000 square foot facility will treat residents of Yardley—adolescents (14&up), adults, and geriatrics—and folks from the surrounding communities throughout Bucks County.

“We were looking to expand our outpatient therapy network and this area of Bucks County is a good fit as we currently have patients from this area traveling into Philadelphia to receive our  inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services from this area,” said Rosemarie Battiato, Magee’s Director of Outpatient Development and Programs who oversees Magee’s outpatient facility on Columbus Boulevard in South Philadelphia, the Watermark site in the Logan Square section of Philadelphia and the new Yardley site. “We’re looking forward to serving the residents of this community who will be able to get an appointment within twenty-four hours, and walk-ins might be available as well.”

The new outpatient facility can serve those who need physical rehabilitation due to orthopedic conditions, balance disorders, arthritis, sports injuries, spine surgery, amputations, neurological conditions and those who need post-surgical conditioning.
