Dr. Guy Fried Educational Seminar on Combination Therapies of SCI and Clinical Trials

SCI Resource & Support Group Picnic.

This is the spinal cord injury (SCI) peer web page. The purpose of this site is to bring the peer support program to you. SCI-Peers are trained volunteers who have learned to cope with their own spinal cord injuries.

At Magee, Peers are available to meet with new patients and answer any questions regarding life after a spinal cord injury. When patients leave Magee the peer program was usually left behind as well. Until now!

In this web site, individuals with (SCI) can find information on topics by either talking to a peer or exploring the resources available on the web site. Work, sports, school, hobbies, living independently, home modification and travel are examples of the information available here. This web site is monitored and updated by people with SCI. The peers are available to answer questions regarding every day problems or concerns. With over 100 trained peers with a variety of injury levels quadriplegia, paraplegia, incomplete and complete levels with years of experience, the chances are your questions will be answered. We invite you to browse around and give us your feedback. This is "our" web site. Life does not end with SCI; it's a new beginning.
