Dr. Rosenberg earned her Bachelors degree in Psychology from Clark University, her Master’s degree and certification in School Psychology from New York University and her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Nova University. She interned at the Postgraduate Center for Mental Health, a Psychoanalytic Institute in New York City. Prior to her tenure at Magee she practiced at the Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York City and then Pennsylvania Hospital. She also worked for many years in private practice both in New York and Philadelphia.

Dr. Rosenberg joined the psychology group at Magee in 1990. She is a Clinical Psychologist and the Director of the hospital-wide Peer Mentor Programs for survivors and their families of stroke, brain injury, spinal cord and amputation. As a clinician she specializes in the evaluation and treatment of individuals with spinal cord injuries and other neuromuscular conditions. She treats families and couples as well as individuals. Dr. Rosenberg is a member of the clinical and administrative leadership team at Magee. She sits on a variety of committees and work groups and does training to enhance staff understanding of the psychological processes involved with the physical rehabilitation process.
